Exciting news! I’m hiring a registered dietitian to join the Personalized Nutrition Counseling, PC team! If you’re passionate about supporting people in improving their relationship with food, exercise and body image, this job is for you! Using evidenced based nutrition counseling, we incorporate weight-inclusive medical nutrition therapy, Intuitive Eating and Health at Every Size ® with all clients. We support people of all ages, sizes, genders, sexual orientations, races, ethnicities, and backgrounds that have eating disorders, disordered eating, body image concerns, digestive disorders, and general wellness concerns. You do not need to have years of eating disorder experience to apply. Job Overview:

Personalized Nutrition Counseling, PC is seeking a non-diet and size inclusive Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) to join Sara Kashlan’s private practice. Personalized Nutrition Counseling, PC is a virtual nutrition counseling private practice based in Southern California. This is a fully remote, part-time employee position of up to 20 hours per week with the potential to grow into a full-time caseload. You will be providing virtual outpatient nutrition counseling to clients with eating disorders, disordered eating, body image concerns, digestive disorders, and general health concerns. You will collaborate with clients’ treatment teams in order to coordinate care. You will attend supervision and participate in continuing education to build and strengthen skills.

Personalized Nutrition Counseling, PC is a non-diet and weight inclusive nutrition private practice specializing in eating disorders, disordered eating, body image concerns, digestive disorders, medical nutrition therapy and Intuitive Eating. We are currently a fully virtual private practice. We offer individual clinical supervision from an iaedp Certified Eating Disorders Specialized Consultant.

Job Responsibilities:

• ·Provide one-on-one nutrition counseling for adults & adolescents using weight inclusive medical nutrition therapy

• Document client sessions via electronic medical record in a timely manner

• Create meal plans based on clients’ nutritional needs 

• Assist clients in developing healthy coping skills and behaviors in order to build a peaceful relationship with food, movement and their bodies

• Support clients in challenges such as food exposures and meal outings 

• Communicate with clients’ treatment team providers and parents in a professional manner

• Maintain professional therapeutic boundaries 

• Engage in regular clinical supervision

• Research, blog writing, and conducting a nutrition group, if applicable.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) licensure located in California

• Access to reliable internet in order to provide telehealth services

• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken

• 1 year of eating disorder experience at any level of care, preferred 

• Ability to work collaboratively with clients, parents and colleagues 

• Open to receive and integrate feedback 

Education

• Active Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) licensure 

• Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Nutrition

Compensation: Competitive rate
